the response to our experiment (with herman) has been overwhelming. thanks for everyone's interest and participation. if anything, this experiment has already taught terry and i about the immeasurable ability of people to respond to the needs of our neighbor (even if he's thousands of miles away) and the organizing power of blogs...especially when jason boyett, of relevant magaine, gets involved.
it's also taught me that i don't think big enough, but terry does.

until then, we've had another financial backer approach us and offer to match up to an additional $500. that means we need 500 more people. so, keep spreading the word. peace.
